He treated our dog as though she was his dog - he played with her, fussed over her food so that she ate, took her for walks and runs, and even let her sleep in his bed when she hopped up there and made it clear that's where she wanted to sleep. We came home to a happy, healthy dog. Jim even picked her up and dropped her off - which was a blessing given the jetlag after such a long trip.
